| DAY 0: Meet with the Guide and equipment Check (Mendoza city)
Guide’s introduction, talk about the mountain and expedition itinerary details (bibliography hand-out). Medical form fill-out and equipment check.
DAY 1: Mt Arenales (3.500 m)
Departure from Mendoza city (8:30 hs). Reception and check in at San Antonio refuge (2,560 m). Departure to the northeast following a stream until we arrive at the Quebrada del Estudiante, going up to the pass Lomas Blancas - Arenales and then we reach summit through a mountain ridge. Lunch at summit. Return to San Antonio. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Veguitas Camp (3200 m)
Breakfast. Preparation of equipment and loads. Lunch at San Antonio. Departure to the northeast through a path that goes up among picturesque refuges and the old funicular. Then, we ascend through a glacial moraine to the valley of Las Veguitas, where we can appreciate a stunning view of the main peaks of the Cordon del Plata. Camp. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: Las Blancas Mt. (3200 m) – La Cadenita
Breakfast. Departure toward the Morenas Coloradas, going over the moraines to Lomas Blancas Mt. till reach summit. Lunch at summit. We then visit the peaks of Estudiantes, Caucaso, and Iluso (4,000 m). Moraine descent to the Morenas Coloradas. Arrival at camp, dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4: Franke Mt. (4950 m)
Breakfast. Departure at dawn towards the moraine of Mt. Franke, ascent to the mountain ridge and continuing through a path that leads to the summit. Lunch on the march. Moraine descent to the camp Piedra Grande (3500 m). Descent to camp Veguitas to break camp and continue to the ski center. Meet with other vehicles and return to the city of Mendoza. (approx 7.30 pm).
