Departure from the city of Mendoza to the south going across the county of Lujan de Cuyo and passing through the traditional wineries of the area (Lagarde, Arizu, Norton, Catena Zapata, etc). Passing through old allies of vineyards, we can appreciate the magnificent contrast of the vineyards with the stunning Cordon del Plata. By Los Cerrillos, we arrive at the region of Agrelo, then we cross the last of the foothills to go into the area of Valle de Uco (county of Tupungato). Crossing over the picturesque town of San Jose, we head northwest bordering the Cordon del Plata range and enjoying the scenery which offers the fertile valley of Las Carreras and the majestic mountains. La Alejandra mountain lodge (1900m above sea level) is located at the foot of Plata Mt. (6100 m): we go into this area, among potato crops and cereal fields, and we continue up to the horse paddocks. Through old trails, we will ascend crossing steep ravines until we arrive at El Altar where we will stop to admire the beautiful view of Valle de Uco. Return to the lodge, a traditional lunch is awaiting us (optional). Taking again the road of Las Carreras towards north, we arrive at the observation point from La Ollada, which offers an extraordinary view of the valley and the Potrerillos dam. A winding descent road takes us to the mountain towns of Potrerillos and after this, we move forward west to the area of Vallecitos where we stop at the refuge San Antonio. After this short break, we visit the Potrerillos dam and we prepare for the return to Mendoza city (International Route N° 7).

It includes: 4x4 Land Rover Defender transfer, bilingual driver and coordinator, snack (mineral water, cereal bar and snack).
